Brewer High School
Class Of 1968

Hi Everyone just wanted to send off a message to let you know we have lost two classmates this summer;

Charlie Watters 5/17/2016 and Wynn Dwelley 8/7/2016.

Hello!  Classmates:

Hope this annoucement finds you all well and happy!  There is exciting news to share with you about our endeavor to provide scholarship funds to graduates from the Brewer High School Class of 2014. From the Silent Auction  held at our 45th class reunion last summer, and excess general funds, we were able to raise $2000 for this goal.  There are two $1000 scholarships that were presented.  The Brewer High School Class of 1968 Scholarships were awarded to the following students:

1) Fallon Francazio who will be attending Eastern Maine Community College and majoring in Liberal Studies

2) Matteah Hamm who will be attending the University of Maine and majoring in Pre-Nursing

The Scholarship Coordinator at BHS, Emily Sevigny, was wonderful to work with.  She expressed appreciation,

"On behalf of the faculty and students of Brewer High School, we want to thank you for your generous contribution and dedication to the future of our graduates.  Scholarship donors, like yourself, are caring people who unselfishly give in order to support the educational endeavors of students."

We did a wonderful thing, comrades, so be proud of this accomplishment!  The challenge was collectively met, and hopefully there will be a chance to do it again!  Thanks so much for your generous spirit, and your sense of caring for your hometown, and  children's education!  Have a fabulous summer!

Best regards,

Rhonda Soucie-Coffin

Hello!  Classmates:

A Brewer High School Class of 1968 Scholarship recipient, Fallon Francazio, has sent us a Thank You note:

"Thank you very much for giving me the "Class of 1968 Scholarship".  It will definitely help benefit me throughout my college career.  I am enrolled and attending Eastern Maine Community College for an Associates Degree in Liberal Studies.  Later on after that, I would like to go to a 4-year college for studies in Graphic Design.  I am currently going to be living at home during the time at EMCC.  I am undecided about whether or not I would like to stay in Maine quite yet.  As of right now, these are my other plans.  I really appreciate your giving me the opportunity to receive this scholarship!  I can't thank you enough..........but I hope you know I appreciate everything you've done. Sincerely,  Fallon Francazio."

Please  find time to encourage this student.  Her address is:  335  Center St., Bangor, Maine  04401.

We are so fortunate to be able to support this student with our funds and words..  Sharing our own experiences will give this student courage, hope and confidence to finish college and go out into the world to give of her talents. Enjoy being a part of this accomplishment!!

Kind regards,

Rhonda Soucie-Coffin
